Nikon dSLR class started at the Learning Connection

Last night, I started day one of a four day dSLR photography workshop with Dan Logan and Robin Lacroix. The program is hosted by the Learning Connection in Providence, Rhode Island.

Sometimes I wonder how I made it this long without formal photography training…timing is as good as ever, with lots of exciting field work forthcoming. Exploring fisheries and human health issues in the Bahamas, tentative exploration beneath the Arctic, and a deep excursion that will raise more than eyebrows in 2010.

OO is also beginning to develop a series of digital journeys to help everyone connect with our work, and our planet. Thanks to Geotagging technology, our new SLR camera, and Google Earth, some exciting online programs will be coming your way soon. Stay tuned!
